Adam Dickie reached the quarterfinals in the Mens Open Singles.  In the Womens Open Singles, Kim Turzi, Stephanie Turzi and Emily Gilder all reached the round of 16.  In the Mens Open Doubles, Adam Dickie partnered by Calum Curtis-McDonald from Shepparton, reached the semi-finals. They defeated Daniel Hunt and Alex Stavropoulas in the quarterfinals. In the Ladies Open Doubles, Kimberley Turzi, partnered by Michaela McShane, reached the quarterfinals.  Emily Gilder and Adele Palmer, were defeated in the semi-finals. Christine McEldrew and Heather Douglass performed well in the Womens Open Doubles.   (How is the ear Heather).   Stephanie Turzi partnered by Ally Mobbs lost in the quarterfinals. The Mens Graded Singles event featured Paul Hunt and Philip Tudor.  Paul was defeated in the round of 16 and Phil in the quarterfinals.  In the Mens Graded Doubles Phil and Paul were defeated in the semi-finals.

In the Boys 12/U Singles, Theo Mimoun was the winner of the event, with very good performances by Mathew Mahoney and Ben Lindsey.  Dimitri Economou performed well in the Boys 14/U and the Boys 16/U Singles events.  The girls 12/U singles was a closely fought event with good performances by Emma Mimoun, Rhian Llewellyn and Sophie Robertson.  The girls 14/U singles runner-up was our own Kate Bellott for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to all Kings Park participants, they were great ambassadors for the Club.

The Tournament Director would like to thank the following members who assisted during the tournament:  Paul Hunt, Phil Tudor, Graham Muir, Emily Porritt, Jeanette Muir, Joan Ellis, Izzy, John Paul, Claire Bury and Lyn Price.  Thanks to Ben Aldham who kindly spent Sunday at Lauriston Tennis Club with the juniors.  Thank you to those who assisted in the BBQ on Sunday evening.

Once again the Club were complimented on the running of the tournament and the great atmosphere around the club at all times.
